Director of Financial Aid

Position Summary: The Director for Financial Aid is responsible for the administration of all institutional, state, and federal financial aid and for ensuring compliance with all relevant program guidelines.

Department: Enrollment

Supervisor: Vice President for Enrollment

Essential Functions:

  1. Maintain good standing with federal and state agencies by making proper application to each entity and by complying with federal and state regulations
  2. Maintain complete and accurate student files in compliance with Department of Education standards
  3. Stay current on changes in federal and state programs, taking necessary steps to maintain institutional eligibility for all relevant programs
  4. Complete and submit annual FISAP report to the Department of Education
  5. Provide all documentation and support for the completion of the annual federal, state, and institutional audit reports
  6. Reconcile all accounts on a semester and annual basis with the Department of Education and the Business Office
  7. Determine federal and state student eligibility using the ISIR and FAA
  8. Review and/or perform verification process on student selected by the Department of Education and/or Trinity College
  9. Supervise the Financial Aid department staff
  10. Provide updated information for the Trinity College catalog
  11. Develop, implement and revise policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations and college policies and procedures
  12. Oversee the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) process.
  13. Administer appeals process related to SAP and Special Circumstances. Establish appeals committee and appeal guidelines. Train appeals committee and ensure they follow procedural and regulatory requirements. Notify students of appeal outcomes and counsel students on available options
  14. Develop, modify, implement and maintain the application intake and tracking process for proper documentation of all awards for audit trail. Maintain fund control records in accordance with funding level limitations. Oversee complete federal, state, and institutional reports including applications for federal funding and reports the expenditures of funds allocated, such as FISAP.
  15. Coordinate internal reconciliation efforts and report to reviewing entities, such as auditors, program reviews, and accreditation teams
  16. Oversees or does all Title IV Refunds for students who withdraw
  17. Provide entrance and exit loan counseling to students
  18. Provide counseling for students who are adding or dropping classes or may be thinking about withdrawing from the institution
  19. Work with Business Office to ensure accurate and timely exchange of information and awards
  20. Lead staff meetings, share information as appropriate, promote the development of ideas for improved service and efficiency, and encourage teamwork
  21. Approve payroll work authorizations for all department staff.
  22. Facilitate coordination and communication between respective college departments as they relate to the Financial Aid Office's role in creating a positive educational experience for students. Integrate efforts to maximize Financial Aid's role in recruiting and retention.
  23. Develop and maintain financial aid, cost of attendance budgets.
  24. With the help of staff, develop, design, revise, and update all publications (website, college catalog and other media) relating to financial aid, such as financial aid applications, forms used for tracking applications, correspondence forms, and brochures.

Youth Ministries Coordinator

Develop and oversee all youth ministries at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection. Select, develop and implement programs specifically designed for youth and family ministries. Part-time Opportunities at Church in Odessa, FL


Times needed-Sunday be here by 8 am to lead practice till 9 am and lead services at 9:30 and 11. Tuesday evenings be here at 6 pm for practice and then to do 2 songs at 7 pm for our CR program.

Responsible for-keeping up with their own daily quiet times for reflection and personal growth. Accountable to Senior Pastor for any questions, support and feedback. MUST BE ABLE TO PLAY AND LEAD WITH AN INSTRUMENT. Sunday mornings-Needs to organize and send out weekly the band and singer schedule from Planning Center. (right now we have two bands and two groups of singers that alternate 2 weeks on then 2 weeks off)  Select songs each week and send to band and singers for that week, and set up in ProPresenter for Sunday morning. Audition new potential singers and band members. Move equipment on stage for each weeks set up for musicians and singers. Let Director of Operation know if mics, or any equipment or lights are not working.

Tuesday Nights-select two songs each week and send to singers and Tonya the CR leader who will put into ProPresenter. Show up to practice with them by 6 pm, open and lead us in worship for two songs, and then you can go.

 Pay-$175 per week. $100 for Sunday morning and $75 for Tuesday evening.



Times needed-Be here by 8:30 am for set up and preparation for Sunday morning. Attend worship service at 9:30 and lead Youth service at 11 for both middle and high school students. Plan fun and engaging monthly outreach events in the evenings for students to come to and invite their friends to. Plan and organize a yearly youth mission trip.

 Responsible for-keeping up with their own daily quiet times for reflection and personal growth. Accountable to Senior Pastor for all questions, support and feedback. Write applicable sermons to youth, recruit parents to get involved, set up yearly mission trip, including managing budget for trip, communicate with students via social media platforms, update youth page on church website, planning Sunday morning sermon, games, work with youth band volunteers, and making sure all equipment in youth room is operational which includes computers and sound equipment and set up for Sunday morning how you want it. Keep track of your youth budget.

 Pay-$150 per week.
